The d2expert system is fundamental to our commitment to a high-technology solution and enables appointments to be booked online by our clients. It is a vital tool in reducing leakage in the early stages of case management.

The ability to secure and agree an early appointment for the Claimant is vital to aid a claim's progress. d2expert has a real time database of available appointments from our core experts. This allows direct booking of appointments with the expert GP, either from our internal case management system or, externally, through an intuitive web interface. The ability for our clients to access our expert's diaries online, in real-time, has huge benefits for third party capture and claims retention by allowing capture teams to book medical assessments with claimants on first contact.

Claimant details are transferred from the case handler directly to MRS, for case handling, and to the expert report without the need for re-keying information. This ensures the integrity of both claimant and appointment details and also consulting room information.

d2expert also gives us the ability to electronically transfer medical records, ensuring their availability to the expert during the appointment and reducing the possibility for delays. In the consulting room the expert is forced to acknowledge any special instructions before commencing his report and is prompted to confirm his completed report with the claimant before concluding. The report is, therefore, ready to return to us as soon as the appointment is concluded.

80% of our GP work is undertaken by our d2expert panel and MRS provides support for these experts including consulting room facilities, online diaries and report writing software.

d2expert has now processed more than 30,000 cases and has proved itself to be robust, secure and invaluable to those clients who already use It.
