What role does Medical Report Services play in terms of my claim?

What will happen at the appointment?
Most appointments will be conducted in two parts. Firstly, there will be an interview section whereby the expert will look to establish the circumstances of the accident and ask you about the injuries you have suffered. Secondly, there will be a medical examination which the expert will use to establish the extent and type of your injuries. He will use this joint information to provide a prognosis relating to your symptoms.
What information will I need to take along with me to the appointment?
What happens if I need a translator?

Will I be asked to provide any further information as part of my claim?
Why are my medical records needed?
What happens to my medical records once the expert has finished with them?
