What role does Medical Report Services play in terms of my claim?

How long will it take for my report to be completed once my appointment has taken place?

We will typically start chasing the expert for your medical report within seven days of the appointment, and sometimes sooner if the expert is one of our in-house General Practitioners. Report waiting times can vary due to a number of factors. For example, the examining expert may have to wait for your medical records or, if your injuries are particularly complex, he may require extra time to complete the report. However, once it has been seven days since your appointment we will keep chasing a regular position on your report from the expert and provide updates on its progress to your legal representative or insurer.
